Asian Colouring Book and Companion

In September 2021 Dementia Pathfinders commissioned a project to create this colouring book for people living with dementia in Asian communities. 
 
This colouring book is designed not only to provide meaningful and engaging activity, but also to maintain memories of childhood and to share with carers and family members a view of the places and experiences that those living with dementia may have experienced. 
 
Not all the images are familiar to all members of families who might be interacting with the loved one living with dementia. We have therefore added a companion booklet to help understanding by all members of the family, so that they can interact with their loved one who is reminiscing and reliving memories prompted by the images. The texts have been translated into Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. Please select your chosen language from the dropdown options.
 
The colouring book has 14 images to colour alongside the original full colour artworks, and is printed on good quality paper with a spiro binding so that it will lie flat for easier colouring.
