Understanding the diagnosis and progression of young onset dementia and the impact on families and relationships - FREE Networking Event

Dementia Pathfinders is hosting a FREE networking event

This networking event and publication launch is being hosted by Dementia Pathfinders Community Interest Company in partnership with the Cognitive Neurology Service at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Of interest to health and social care professionals, patients, family carers and community organisations, this event will include the launch of a new publication 'Approaching an unthinkable future' documenting the experiences and feelings of people living with young onset dementia.

Dr Jeremy Isaacs, Consultant Neurologist at St George's Hospital, will be the key speaker and Julia Burton-Jones, who edited the publication, will facilitate some short contributions by younger people with dementia and family carers who took part in the project.  In addition, Dominique Kent from The Good Care Group will speak about a new model of care that the company is developing to support families affected by dementia at a young age.
